This only just appeared on my radar, seems I'm a bit behind; Groundbreaker is happening right now at Object Gallery in Surry Hills. There looks to be some great events happening up till the 15th of August so plenty of time to get involved.
There is a program of talks happening during the week, and some neat workshops taking place on Saturdays hosted by a variety of designers and makers. The next one looks fun, with Kit Palaskas teaching the techniques of Party Craft and Macrame making plant hangers; great chance to keep the kids entertained.
