We’re a motion design studio who’s created award-winning work for a slew of high-profile clients including HBO, Syfy, Nike, the World Economic Forum and more. We’ve garnered a track record for delivering highly-original short-form content time and time again, and we’re looking a Producer to join our team.
Who are you?
You’re an organised, patient multi-tasker with an ability to retain a clear vision of the big picture. Able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines, your meticulous personality keeps it all in the air. You’re a natural leader and all-rounder who’s able to give direction across a team, and your client relationship skills are second-to-none.
What skills do you have?
Whilst formal training isn’t a deal-breaker, it’s preferred you have a university degree in a relevant field. You’ve got at least fours years experience as a Producer and are skilled at dealing efficiently, professionally and amicably with clients. As well as managing and keeping the projects within the allocated budgets, you’ve demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. All of this is a result of your crazy attention to detail, flexibility, organisational skills and abundance of common sense. You’re known for inspiring both colleagues and clients with your strong communication, writing and decision-making skills.
Ideally, you’re experienced with various forms of media, including but not limited to video and still imagery, production, post-production workflows, design, scriptwriting and project management systems. You don't need to be an expert in every area, but you should have a working knowledge of multiple platforms.
What will you do for Breeder?
You’ll manage projects from start to finish – providing the link between clients, partners and the Breeder studio – ensuring the team has a clear understanding of what is expected and when. The Producer will be involved in all stages of production – overseeing the project both in the studio and on location, if necessary.
Involved in the client engagement process, you’ll participate in initial client meetings and collaborate with the creative directors and other team members to prepare proposals. You’ll be responsible for the project’s admin – delegating tasks, setting meetings and hiring freelancers as required. You’ll check in with the team at regular intervals and make adjustments to timelines and tasks when necessary.
Working collaboratively with the Breeder team, you’ll be the first port of call. Staying in regular contact with clients, you’ll see that each project progresses on schedule and on budget, and ensure the final product is true to the creative vision.
You’ll work with the Executive Producer on studio capacity – responding to leads, managing accounts and responding to operation queries. Finally, you’ll ensure all output and projects align with the Breeder brand.
If you’re keen to run with the Breeder brood, send your CV, a cover letter and a link to your portfolio to careers[at]studiobreeder.com by January 26, with the subject heading: Producer.
