Yep. Swannies are my team. Season start was good, but since Goodes has been injured they've been losing them.
As for the coverage/commentary, no one should put Cameron Ling in front of a television camera. Leave him commenting but either blur his head or cut to an action replay or ground shot instead. I think sevens coverage is better than 10's.

Partial interest. Will watch some on tv if bored but never go.
I don't like BT's fake excitement when calling games. He and Richo having digs at one another during play is great entertainment though.

More of a soccer fan but I support good old Collingwood :)

Ah yes, soccer. I prefer playing it to watching it as it has a tendency to be a little dull and on at the wrong time of day for me (read: 4am). My team would be FC Bayern Munich.
AFL wise I'm for Carlton. Most of the commentators irritate me - following the play is fine but when they start throwing in really poor jokes and phrases I just wish they'd shove it.

Eagles for me. Been a good couple years for us... bring on that 2012 premiership!!
And only Dennis Cometti can pull off the jokes and phrases during a game... he started it and some of the less intelligent, less witty and sometimes outright annoying commentators tried to follow suit... but all fail in comparison to Cometti.

True that soccer is more fun playing than watching and yes your right the hours that the games are on are crazy, damn time difference.

Lions. But they're a bit of a lost cause. Except for tonight. Talk about cliffhanger finish!

So who follows AFL?
Posted 02.06.2012 @ 4.20PM
I feel like I might be perceived as somewhat of a bogan for bringing up this topic. However, *I don't care*.
Used to be vaguely interested in AFL and as of this year I've taken more of an interest in it.
So who is your team? What do you think of the season so far? What do you think of Seven's coverage? Is anyone else as irritated by BT's commentary as I am?!
