Liquorice Studio was formed in 2009 by agency director Scott Bonanno.
Since then we have grown – and grown – into a team of very talented (and very good-looking) individuals whose vast collective experience covers just about every type of communication design service.
We specialise in brand and identity design for print and web, and we have a great mix of clients of all shapes and sizes.

Brand manifesto book
For brand strategy agency The Lab, ‘alchemy’ describes their ability to transform something that seems to have little value (raw consumer research data) into something of great value (a brand proposition or brand strategy). Inspired by this approach we applied some of our own alchemic magic to the design concept.
Taking key statements from the manifesto, we transformed simple raw materials (board, paint, chalk) into a typographic mural and used still images as the visual theme for the book, also capturing the process with time-lapse photography to demonstrate ‘alchemy’ in action.
