I am an editorial art-director & designer currently living in Melbourne having worked in London for the last 6 years. Most recent clients have included Melbourne Fashion Festival, RAA South Australia, British GQ, Esquire UK, Elle UK, Empire and The Daily Telegraph Newspaper. I have also worked on projects for global brands such as Audi, McLaren, Bentley and Watches of Switzerland.
Graduating in 2012 with a First Class Honours degree in Graphic Design, I initially interned with Esquire before working as a freelance designer for 2 years. Following this, I took on a full-time role with an editorial-design agency in London, where I found a strong interest in designing for print and the processes of art-directing. During this period, I developed these specific skills whilst developing natural design knowledge in digital, iconography and illustration. My side passion (iconography) has been included in commercial fashion magazines as well as across advertising billboards in and around London. Most recently I have enjoyed becoming the design consultant and lead creative for RAA in South Australia overseeing their re-branded consumer magazine.
I have won two awards with the European News Design Awards for supplements I designed whilst at The Daily Telegraph Newspaper. My work has also been featured in London Exhibitions as well as The Loop, Creative Bloq and ReadyMag.
In 2012/13 I was asked to conceptualise, brand and design all collateral for the Masters Art & Design exhibition for Nottingham Trent University.
I took on the project solely, taking it from brief through to print delivery. The event was for international students allowing the final designs to be shipped internationally to all contacts of the university.
