Liquorice Studio was formed in 2009 by agency director Scott Bonanno.
Since then we have grown – and grown – into a team of very talented (and very good-looking) individuals whose vast collective experience covers just about every type of communication design service.
We specialise in brand and identity design for print and web, and we have a great mix of clients of all shapes and sizes.

“Aunty Donna is four young men in suits delivering 60 minutes of theatrical anarchy – funny, confronting and so damn clever.” – Ian Royall, Herald Sun.
We created this retro ad art inspired identity for the inaugural season of Aunty Donna at the 2012 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. The project included the tongue-in-cheek illustration, a slender ‘street pole poster’, flyers and a blog style website for ticket sales. The show, which ran Thursdays through to Saturdays for the duration of the festival, was a huge success with tickets selling out almost every night.
