It seemed to be an issue on the forums – you can search the the Adobe forum to see what others have said. I would say that it would happen to me maybe once or twice a week.

On CS5, found occaisionally have to restart your computer because the whole suite gets a stuck SPACE BAR, meaning there's no Hand Tool. Very annoying. I haven't been able to find a reason why it does it, or a solution that doesn't involve restarting the comp (OSX).
I don't remember moving from CS4–5, except maybe the introduction of OpenGL which sped up performance on certain actions.

Shift+command+4 then space bar lets you shoot a particular window. Just sayin'.

Hey Arg,
I would talk to a tax accountant on that, they would be able to do sums on the depreciation of the computer versus the high cost of renting a new computer. CompNow does hires, but you can google others.
