I came across this article today, I remember this being asked a while back so am sharing here in case anyone else finds it useful: https://www.smashingmagazine.com/2016/08/photoshop-etiquette-for-responsive-web-design/?mc_cid=2d267568d7&mc_eid=0e62bd9ab0

Hey that's cool @Dave! We use a self-built system on Sharepoint to record client requests (mostly internal) and give us a job number, then Trello for the day-to-day recording of notes etc. It's more manual than you probably want, but it is flexible.

You might find this a good place to start for case studies? http://www.underconsideration.com/brandnew/archives/industry/technology/#.V2IFs2Z4z4Y

Thanks all for your input.
@cama we already have studio management software, so adding another level of admin is something we wish to avoid, but thanks for the info.
@psycsm - that's cool software, but overkill for us.
@cheli and @scotti - I actually suggested the defcon system and people liked the idea.
We actually have an old spare iMac lying around, so we're going to go for a blue-sky, edgy solution that 'pops' and takes it to the next level. ( We'll do the defcon thing, but digitally, with pretty pictures )

@Cheli yes I was asked to design the branding before the renovation was finished. I focused on the federation heritage too much and the client asked for it to be stripped back. When I saw the final product I realised they were spot on.
I'm a bit too used to working with no photography or at least no high quality imagery so I tend to overcompensate with extra graphics, illustration, patterns etc. When the shots came through I had to remember how to take a step back and let them do the work! Brooke Holm shot it, her IG account is amazing https://www.instagram.com/brookeholm/
The blinking dash... couldn't help myself lol

First off, good work on following through on your startup idea! Takes a lot of courage!!
I'm with @Cheli here, I have no idea what the page is about. I see on the tab it says "Small Business Invoice Pay..." before it gets cut off. It says "be the first to.." but I don't know what that means either? I think you should clearly state your value proposition up front as a header.
Second, I think your call to action is not prominent enough. The 'subscribe' button doesn't really look like a button at all. The fact that it is the same colour as the red box underneath it also detracts from people signing up to it.
Have you used Usability Hub before? A great resource, you can load a screen shot of your website and survey people's reactions / ask them questions / etc. It's free, but you have to earn some karma points by doing some usability testing yourself (or you can pay). https://usabilityhub.com/ Definitely check it out, I used it when finishing my UX project, you can get some real great feedback.
